Holloway Area Guide

Holloway is a vibrant and multicultural district, less than four miles from the City, that is becoming increasingly popular with young professionals. The area has a great selection of local pubs, bars and restaurants, and there really is something for everyone within walking distance. There is a wide selection of shops along Holloway Road, and Islington is also a short walk away, boasting the N1 Centre and the famous Upper Street. For something a little different, you can also walk or take a bus to Shoreditch, where you will find pop-up shops and unusual brands.    

Despite its proximity to the City, Holloway has its share of green space. Paradise Park is popular with families and features plenty of play equipment for the kids. Highbury Fields, meanwhile, is perfect for a jog or a game of tennis.

Transport

There are great transport links – Holloway Road tube station is on the Piccadilly Line, where it is just 5 minutes to Kings Cross and 10 minutes to Holborn, while Upper Holloway is on the London Overground, which runs direct to Stratford and Docklands.
Numerous bus routes also serve the area.
